Financial Reporting Accountant

Our partner is a UK-owned manufacturing company with logistical presence in Hungary and all around the globe. Here, besides their warehouse compound, they are building a Shared Service Center that manages the financial activities in the UK. Currently they are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant, who would have an end-to-end accounting and reporting responsibility, and who is motivated by a one-man-show type of position.

About this position

  • End-to-end accounting of the holding company in the UK (fixed assets, purchase and sales ledger etc.)
  • Preparing reports in order to support C-level stakeholders to take strategic decisions
  • Assisting in the prepartion of the annual and semi-annual financial statements of the company
  • Budgeting
  • Handling supplier invoices
  • Reviewing and following up of monthly reconciliations

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as an accountant in SSC environment
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and complex reports
  • IFRS knowledge is a plus
  • Affinity to travel frequently (1-2 days in 1 or 2 months to the holding company in the UK)
  • Advanced level of English usage, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • Precision, resiliency, flexibility
